Najaf & Kufa
Arrival at Najaf airport, ziyarat of Imam Ali (a.s.), Wadi al-Salam, Masjid al-Kufa, Masjid al-Sahla and the shrines of Muslim ibn Aqil and Hani ibn Urwa.
Karbala
Shrines of Imam Hussain and Abbas (a.s.), Bayn al-Haramayn, Tal al-Zainabiya and nearby maqamat, with a stop at Al-Qasim on the way north.
Baghdad & Samarra
Kadhimiya, Salman al-Farsi in Mada’in, Sayyid Muhammad in Balad and the Al-Askari shrine in Samarra, then departure from Baghdad.
